Spice-Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges



These spice-roasted sweet potato wedges are a flavorful and satisfying side dish or snack. The combination of paprika, cumin, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper adds a delightful warmth and depth of flavor to the sweet potatoes, making them irresistible to both adults and kids.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 425F 220C

In a large bowl, toss sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated

Spread the seasoned wedges onto a baking sheet in a single layer

Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the wedges are tender and lightly browned

Serve hot and enjoy!
